Q : How were you feeling when you first started looking for your wedding dress?
A: Verita was the first and only place I looked at wedding gowns. I wasn’t nervous at all, I was very happy and excited. I didn’t have any expectations which made my experience easy, relaxed, and fun!
Q : What made your experience at Verita special?
A: Jessica was very welcoming and made me feel so comfortable.
Q : Describe the moment you found your dress, was it what you envisioned or were you surprised?
A: I cried when I tried the dress on, that’s when I knew it was the one. I thought I wanted sleeves, but I tried on several different dresses and realized that is NOT what I wanted. The dress I said yes to was absolutely perfect, and not as simple as I thought I wanted!
Q : Where did your wedding take place and what was your aesthetic?
A: I had my wedding ceremony at Magnolia Plantation, and our dinner reception at Coastal Crust on James Island. My aesthetic was bohemian chic.
Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding?
A: My favorite part of my wedding was the ceremony of course, the pizza at the vintage truck at coastal crust and we also had a flower man!
Q: What advice would you give to future brides?
A: Take in every moment of your day, focus on you two because the wedding day goes by FAST! Don’t stress, enjoy every second you have and just have fun. I am a DIY bride, I didn’t have a planner and my day went perfectly without a professional one. I would skip on a planner because you can do it! It’s a little stressful but worth every second!
