NYE Wedding

If you want your wedding to be the ultimate party, I cannot think of a better day to have it than New Years Eve. When you think of NYE you think of parties, glam, and an overflow of excitement. All of your guests will already be in the mood to get dressed up, hit the town, and party all night long!

reception outifts for the bride

One of the first things I think of when I think of a New Years Eve wedding is the options it gives you for your bridal look. To go with the glitz and glamour of the holiday, I think it's so fun to do an outfit change into a sparkly party dress or jumpsuit after the ceremony and first dance in your wedding gown. Here are some fun ideas for the second look!

Bridesmaids

While we're on the topic of all things sparkle, let's look at some fun and fabulous bridesmaids options for your NYE bash.

Pop some bubbly, party, and make resolutions

Popping chamagne is a New Years Eve rite of passage, so have you and your guests pop some bubbles as you ring in your first married New Year. Another fun nod to the holiday is to have your guests write down New Years resolutions, this can be in a jar, on a resolution wall, or you can tape resolutions to floating lanterns and send them ahead in to the New Year.

Photobooths, decor, favors

Who doesn't love a good photobooth? Add in a New Years Eve theme, and you have the perfect prop for your guests' pics! You can also decorate your space with disco balls, clocks to countdown to the strike of midnight, and lights everywhere! A cute idea for party favors is to give out bags of 'midnight kisses'!

A sparkling sendoff

After the clock has struck midnight, and after you and your guests have partied and danced your way into the next year, it's time for the send-off! When I think of the ball dropping and the old year ending while the new one starts, I think of sparklers, confetti, and fireworks. So use any of these for your send-off and it'll be sure to be a show-stopping finale to your epic NYE wedding!

CHeers to the new year & the newlyweds!
